Introduction
Soul is a weapon-based fighting game series by Namco. The series revolves around a sword that, after years of bloodshed and hatred, gained a soul of its own, the Soul Edge, and the sword forged to counter it, Soul Calibur. The series is special in that each character is created to have his or her own unique weapon and style creating a varied fighting experience. The popular series has spawned five games so far, with one more underway and a motion picture currently in production.

- Over the past few days we've managed to get an unprecented amount of visitors to the Soulpedia, this is both good and bad. Good, the site has never looked better and everyone is putting some amazing work into it (RaiSiegfriedX, Serian, IamNightTerror789, Calibur-EX, GrymReaper, MitsurugiFan, Soul-EX, Stalefish9) plus others I've most likely missed from this list. Thanks to all of you, between all of us we're making something amazing. The bad news is that the site will now have to start paying for its hosting via advertising. Like the Tekkenpedia, logging in will remove all advertising and the advertising that is on here I will try to keep to a minimum while making sure that it's only text and graphic based (no fake error messages, ads with sound etc). If you have comments, please leave them on my user page and I'll address them. Thanks again everyone for your hard work!

- Over the next few hours / days I'm going to roll out an add-on for the Soulpedia which allows a few new social networking functions. You friend/foe people, earn points, ranks and create badges for you homepage. Let me know what you think of this when it's live and leave some feedback on my user talk page if you like it / don't like it. If you do like it then I'll roll it out to the Tekkenpedia as well :)
