Christopher Curtis, a 13-year-old kid, lived in ghetto Colorado Springs with his mom. One day, Chris walked back from Seven-Eleven, and he encountered Maxi. Chris punched him in the stomach and put him in a coma. This resulted in Chris being grounded for a month. Sarah carried Maxi into their home. A month had passed, and Maxi awoke from his coma. Chris still had to find out what was going on. Chris went to Jessie's house to see what was going on. Chris heard a knock on his door, and he was sure it was Maxi. It was! Maxi wanted to apologize to Jessie's dad about an attack he put on her the other day. Chris went home so early to prepare for journeying. He set out with the promise to use Soul Edge to at least injure Maxi.

At the Tower of Rememberance - Degradation, Chris and Maxi are crossed with each other simaltaneously, Maxi, in pain, tells Chris that he was looking for Jessie because she was his daughter. Chris responds with the answer that he should have looked in Jessie's hometown, that he should have treated her with more kindness. Maxi realizes that Jessie is autistic. Chris walks off, while Maxi falls unconscious.

- Chris will be appearing in the animated movie, Soul Calibur IV:Jessie's Story, for only a minor part.
- Chris jokes around with Jessie, so Jessie gets angry because she cannot take things as a joke.
- Chris is black and white, making him the only bi-racial character in Soulcalibur IV.
