By all means upload. It will follow a similar setup to the Tekkenpedia, so just make sure the images are under the /gallery subpage of each character and divided up per game. I'll be adding a "installment" style header soon for each character that will link to galleries etc. Samuel 05:10, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

Go to Special:Userrights and choose. Only bureaucrats can do that. Sysops protect pages, delete pages and block other users.

Hey Sam. It's been a long time, huh? Nothing's really happened on this site for while :/ (or maybe it's just me...). Anyway, I'm on another wiki, and I wanted to know: how do you install the Youtube video function onto the wiki? Can only a Sysop do that, or what?

To get blocked or to block someone? If you want to block someone then you'll need to find an admin and ask them to do it. If you have a look at the Special:Listusers page you can see who is an admin of the wiki. Just post a message on their talk page and they will check it out. Samuel 22:54, 16 July 2008 (UTC)

I went through some of the characters profiles and change the names 'Good' and 'Bad' ending SCIII videos to 'Input' and 'Non-Input'. Example: In Rock's ending, if you input the button, then he will be captured, which isn't necessarily good.

O.O...... alot of things have happened over the last few days.... I like all the new things you've done to the site, Samuel.

The next thing I want to do is get some really nice designs done for the site, nothing over the top but I want to move it away from the typical mediawiki skin into more of a traditional Japanese style. Does someone want to have a go at creating a banner ad for the site? It's going to be used to advertise the site on the Tekkenpedia. You'll get full credit for the banner ad and the adoration of the 2000 people that will see it every day :)

It should be 728px x 90px (ISA Leaderboard size) and can either be a static image or animated gif. It should say

"Visit the Tekkenpedia" "The Internets Largest Tekken Wiki!"

Yep, I'm open to it. I explored it a little bit with the Tekkenpedia but I didn't really get that far with it. I'm not sure how to integrate it into the site (links off the character pages? Ok, I have an idea, but it might be a little too complicated.

So we have a page for Fan Fics and another for Fan Art. On those pages, we could have links leading to the fan stuff related to a certain character, like Siegfried/Fan Art, or we could just have it in sections on that one page for each character. For Fan Fics we could put different links to individual submitted stories.

I dunno, I think it's kinda complicated.

I've added in a couple of links to the character template, feel free to add any artwork and stories for each character. You might want to have a look at the "gallery" tag for the fan art pages. I saw it Siggy's page, very nice. Maybe we should put it in one of our ads, "Submit Fan Art/Fan Fics here!". We could use RugiFan's drawings for those ads along with the normal ones!

Of course, we're going to inspect them first, right?

No easy way to inspect them before upload, I think just let people upload them then we'll delete them if they're not appropriate. Eventually (once numbers are up a bit more) I'll run advertising on the Soulpedia, more than happy to put in a banner for people to submit fan art. Ok. Could we at least put a notice up on the Main Page, or do you think people will realize that they could submit their works when they go on any character's page? And, how are we gonna set up the Fan Fics stuff? Wikis usually don't allow text documents to be uploaded, so would we just have the submitters start pages based on the name of the Fan Fic? (By the way, I'm not sure that Fan Fics should be limited to each character, as they usually include a bunch of them, right?) --Rai

I don't mind hosting cosplay on the site, however we need to think about how to get people here to use it. It's no good just putting up a link (see the fan art/stories), we need a way of letting people who are into cosplay about the site. Does anyone here visit cosplay forums? Could promote the mesage? So...this keeps popping up whenever I go on my user page:
A database query syntax error has occurred. This may indicate a bug in the software. The last attempted database query was: (SQL query hidden) from within function "". It also showed up on your user page and I think RugiFan's. Know anything about it?
